mondo radness, adenosine reception [23 Oct 2008|05:51pm]

Coffee and a banana. Phosphorous with whole grains. Flaxseed, Ohhhmega-3 bindings, tropical guaranine, synonym to caffeindom taking effect. I like my music at low, relaxing volumes, the kinds that provide a variety of moods, without becoming overbearing in the senses. Sometimes.

There are times that I prefer the music in my bones though, taking hold, it's warmth and approach that comforts, inviting me to discover the value of what I'd not yet placed in that brain o' mine: I am constantly thrilled to be alive.

Trying new things, Sr. Prise, Sr. Prise. Still haven't gotten that guitar-to-midi! Looking forward to it in November! I'm happy. Feeling organic and imperfectly perfect at sculpting around the rules of the audible multiverse.

I know what you're thinking--you're thinking that the image above is a wonderful macro shot of some grass clipping. No--it's a shot of Japanese paper made with a laser microscope by Charles Kazilek of Arizona State University. The image was one of the winner of this year's Small World Photomicrography competition (which is sponsored by Nikon). The laser caused the paper fibers to fluoresce in green and blue shades. The image below, by Albert Tousson of the University of Alabama, shows a petal of a lily of the valley magnified 1,300 times. Again, the laser light from the microscope causes some wild colors to emerge. The red structures are the cell walls, and the green/yellow thingies are starch molecules.--David Schonauer

'Allo there, how fare thee?

Unlike the rapidly changing universe we are a part of, the inner evolution of man, our awareness, especially our intent desires for rationality, seem to face strong adversaries when faced with societal dispositions to the contrary: fears of change!

This has many origins: chemical, genetic, environmental, experiential, all that is life, all that is present enough in spacetime to affect, does. Thankfully, we have brains that can break out of the mold of basic biological programming. A global consciousness wakes up to the ideas moving around. Intertwined with our bodies and brains, our minds. Eachother.

I'm not religious, superstitious, or misdirected mythical (you'd need to have a direction to be misdirected), but I am imaginative, and I am magical. My philosophical duality is ornate, it is beautiful, despite anything that I don't know that I might know someday that could eventually blow previous duality aesthetics outta the water in sensibility. Discover smiles.

"There is no truth."

Emotions, sets of personal logic, the synapses that meet on parading paths between meanings, to explain things to you like only you do! Ha. Nice rhyme.

Thankfully, we live in a world that is malleable, with a plasticity of mind capable of higher learning. We can enhance, reshape, shuffle about, and rethink things. We can develop theories, building blocks over time that connect a cosmic game of telephone. Life = Motive. If one is easily motivated to deny things, to stay unaware of what self-education, self-discovery offers, if they are not motivated to risk in a universe that is already rigged against the leisure and luxury of their time awake, alive, being something, then it will be easy for them to stay the same, it will be easy and understandable to live in fear of a possible better future that is worked for. Many desires for progress and the comfort in challenging ideas are beaten out of them like an animal that a master is unpleased with. Social pressures, governments, religious institutions, the suffocation of diverse avenues of free knowledge disconnect a people with their potential.

So, well, life is an onward yet always present journey, constant change for us humans. It's good to give glimpses, insights into one another. Dialogue and analyses can prove well, especially if said things are acted out with love, respect and patience. It will supply an atmosphere of better breath, of more intelligent diversity, opposing things like denial. It's up to said other/s to learn to listen, to process all things. Our opinions aren't advanced by running around in circles with ideas -- that behaviour reinforces them, whether logically superior to anything else or not -- we are curious, seeking, finding animals with a chance to play with destiny. Who knows where we lead ourselves us as a species, society, spectacle, and involved partner to all else that lives. I dig your analysis. When one's humbled The reasons why we all want to help eachother, are numerous. The important thing, is that is makes grand and groovy sense, the growing pool of awareness to why it works is a beautiful logical premise supporting both rational futures, and greater love. Let anyone see if anything thought of is worth considering, if anything in their mind is worth changing. Sometimes, you may never know, but you could have sparked a movement.

Some stand up and take on a valiant role for their time. Those types of people have been both recognized as examples to strive to become like, to understand, and for leverage by those with power to carry out their agendas with manipulation of individuals made to be herds. Perhaps there will come a day, when each individual stands up, takes heed the diversity of pursuits, stands beside an until now unrealized, actualized honour for being part of all that is. To run with ideas, not to run from them. Here's to having the boldness of synergy to claim your new world, bravely, truly.

There are no truths but the truths that seem.

With timely intent,
Greco Grey

This is a two-parter, one now (11:26pm) and one in the morning, estimated time of appraisal, 9 hours. Behind me is a new wall of lights, a which where now there with a that then now here. Next to me are two CDs pulled from a case of hundreds. The Kleanzing, his cathartic filmscore for an independent film on The Vietnam War. Red, mirrored walls. Frightening, to imagine what it was like for him. He lost it there, his mind, and found to move on and seek standing up to evidently unrequired violence. A lifetime love of music kept him above water. Music ship. Fly, fly...

Ha, it's my "day off" tomorrow.

Before me beauty abound on this eve. Blessings to those who know and believe. The elves salute your heart and your mind as we dance throughout all time.

When I tapped my fingers and arched my back, having been thinking on how all of my organs are technically, symbolically, artfully, scientific emotions, connected to dirt, nanotube, cellular solar system, graviton, word, and national geographic I still long to subsist with, when carbon-based, silicon-traced, mind-braced states, collide I say "PARTICLE!" and giggle like a nerd with a cough from a week of thrift stores, older woman on the plane to the pacific (watch check...), 50mph higher elevated desert winds, passing out on his cousin's bathroom floor (....watch check....), no-everyday-green-smoodie, ran out of multi-vitamins week, won't do that no mo', but ah, beside that, I smiled, considering, "connected everything, separate every things." Keepin' on Keepin' on. Ate another slice of canteloupe. I like to exert energy.
